Liberating Structures
Immersion Workshop
A virtual immersion to boost your facilitation practice.
Four live 3-hour sessions on April 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th from 9:00am to 12:00pm PDT
Powerful facilitation strategies to promote active and effective participation in groups of any size
With Liberating Structures it is possible to awaken a participative and agile behaviour in meetings, planning sessions, classrooms or workshops. Liberating Structures productively disrupt conventional patterns in how we work together. They change dramatically the way results are generated without expensive investments, complicated training, or dramatic shifts in organizational structures.

Virtual Immersion?
Yes! This will be our 27th Immersion and the 13th 100% online.
There will be 4 highly practical and interactive meetings, of 3 hours each via Zoom. We will use light tech and support you along the way, always adding how LS unfold in face-to-face. It is actually a huge bonus to experience LS online, where you can quickly learn, and easily apply in person.
Over these 4 weeks you will experience many Liberating Structures and also will explore the infinite possibilities for stringing LS for different purposes and contexts.
Register today. Space is limited and these workshops fill up fast.

Maybe the best way to describe an Immersion is visualizing yourself learning a new language, living for a period of time in a new country. It would be an immersive experience, which means intense, deep and sometimes, discombobulating...😜
Both in face-to-face and virtual format, in an Immersion we experience the Liberating Structures at all times, structuring the interactions with the group.
» We experience the Liberating Structures. This is when you learn the most...🤩
» We look behind the scenes. And then confirm how simple and powerful they are...🤔
» And sometimes we reflect on results and discuss how to apply in different contexts. What can be an endless and delightful conversation...😀
And last but not least, every Immersion Workshop is different, because a good part of it is designed and driven by participants.

Facilitators
Carolina Almeida and Fernando Murray will be the leading the Design Group in this Immersion, with some special guests and Facilitators along the Sessions.
With deep gratitude for the authors - Keith McCandless and Henri Lipmanowicz - Carolina and Fernando have been infusing Liberating Structures in their practice since 2015.
In 2016, both coordinated the translation of Liberating Structures into Portuguese, and started gathering the Community of Practitioners in Brazil, today with more than 1,000 people.
Carolina and Fernando live in Nelson, a city nested in the rocky mountains in British Columbia, Canada. From Nelson, they partner as Consultants and Facilitators with clients across the globe.
